Vulnerable clients migrating from IR ESA (LCWRA) to UC expected to provide fit notes and look for work.
DWP’s Universal Credit Senior Responsible Owner says there is an ‘existing’ process to catch most cases, with a ‘tactical fix’ to follow as migration volumes increase and a ‘full fix’ due later
In a social media post, DWP’s Universal Credit Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) Neil Couling said –
‘We aren’t yet into big numbers but to reassure, we have an existing process to catch these cases, not perfect works for most, but you will see cases when doesn’t. Given volumes going up we are developing a tactical fix, to catch all, as I write, with a full system fix due later.’
