Overcoming Challenges in Money Guidance – Roundtable Event

When: Thursday, 20th June, 11:00am – 12:00pm

What to expect: This is a friendly, open forum to connect with fellow money guidance practitioners and chat about shared challenges we experience as Money Guiders. The challenges you experience may relate to the demands of meeting the diverse needs of service users, knowing when and how to deliver effective money guidance, or keeping on top of CPD and knowledge in your busy working lives, as examples. Whatever the challenge, you’re welcome to bring it to this virtual roundtable to discuss as well as identify how we as a community and the Money Guiders Scotland Network can address or support these challenges.

Please note this session won’t be recorded but takeaways and next steps will be shared following the session.

What to expect: We are delighted to have Crew 2000 – an Edinburgh-based charity working within drugs and sexual health – lead this webinar which will talk us through current drug trends in Scotland, the risks and effects of commonly used drugs, how to deliver harm reduction to service users (ways to help reduce the negative consequences of problematic drug use) as well as highlight the unique financial challenges those struggling with substance misuse have. It’s sure to be an educational, eye-opening but enjoyable session.
