Our new advisor microsite for TV Licence concessions |
At TV Licensing, we work with organisations across the UK to help people who are in need of extra support manage their payments. Licence fee concessions are available to the following groups: If the licence holder is 75 years or older and they, or their partner living at the same address, receive Pension Credit, they can apply for a free TV Licence. Anyone who is blind (severely sight impaired) is eligible for a 50% concession on their TV Licence. This licence will also cover anyone they live with. Some residential care homes; supported housing; and sheltered accommodation are eligible for a discounted TV Licence. To assist you in advising your clients about the support available, we have developed a new microsite with all the information you need about TV Licence concessions. Here you can check whether your customer is eligible for a concession. There is also a handy video that explains the discounts, who can get one, and how to apply. TV LICENCE CONCESSIONS MICROSITE |
